Meet the jury for the ESCAPE Fashion Show!

The Design Studies Department and the Textile and Apparel Student Association would like to thank our invited guests who juried the designs chosen for the show.  On Saturday, March 17th, we were joined by Pitt Fagan, Co-founder of StyleShuffler.com, UW-Madison TAD alumna Loni Andreen, ShopBop Studio Stylist, and Tad Boetcher, Kohl's Apparel Designer for Croft&Barrow.

It was a long three hour jury process and our guests worked very hard in judging the best possible designs to be showcased for ESCAPE! Check out the rest of the photos by fashion show director Jody Fossum during the jury process!

 

Not in TASA and you want to submit your work? Find out how!

If you are a student not in TASA (Textile and Apparel Student Association) and would like to submit your work from a Textile and Apparel Design class for the Escape Fashion Show, please email us at tasaofficers@gmail.com so we can send you all the important documents you need before date of submission on Friday, March 16th, 10am-12pm.

Please remember that all participating designers must be a TASA member!

Designer Submission Update!

Dear Designers,

We hope you are excited for fashion show jury as we are in the FASHION SHOW COMMITTEE! Make sure to check your emails on Monday, March 12th for the garment submission forms and model choice list! Please read all materials carefully and email tasaofficers@gmail.com for inquiries by noon on Thursday, March 15th to make sure all of your questions can be answered by someone at a timely fashion.

The Escape Fashion Show submissions are due Friday, March 16th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Please submit your forms and boards in Sterling Hall on the second floor outside of Maria Kurutz and Carolyn Kallenborn’s rooms.

Just a reminder: you must be a TASA member to submit work into the fashion show.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Textile and Apparel Student Association (TASA) would like to cordially invite you to the Escape Fashion Show. The event will showcase 2011-2012 student designs in two fierce runway shows on Friday, May 4th at 2:00PM and 7:00PM in Union South's Varsity Hall. Cocktail hour and a runway event will be held prior to the evening show.
